About Izzy
Izzy has spent the last 5 years working in a production-grade additive manufacturing environment. As a Design and Development Engineer, she conducted economic and technical feasibility analyses for potential 3D printing applications. She helped customers redesign existing parts, optimizing for the various printing technologies, as well as design new products that were not possible before 3D printing. She developed new internal processes for the team including custom texturing, latticing, and design automation workflows.
She then became a Manufacturing Engineer, specializing in Carbon DLS, where she created the print files and oversaw the successful manufacturing of ordered parts. She continued to develop internal processes such as optimized baking fixtures that increased yield and efficiency during the print process.
Her experiences in both technical design and hands-on manufacturing lend her a holistic perspective that equip her to provide guidance on your next 3D printing project. She always considers economic and technical feasibility before moving forward on projects. As she models parts, she is simultaneously optimizing for quality, manufacturability, and fit, given the tolerances of printing processes. Additionally, she is an expert in nTopology and can help make use of all that 3D printing has to offer through complex lattice design or workflow automation for mass customization applications. Izzy is passionate about helping clients make use of all that these new technologies has to offer!
